I do. I know, it’s bizarre. But I get so excited the second I decide to fly the coop that I literally start planning my outfits. I have outfits for the plane, lounging around the pool, cycling through paddy fields, hanging out at the hotel and pounding the shopping pavements in big cities.
I must own at least eight kaftans that have never seen the light of day in Sydney, but get plenty of return on investment on beach holidays. Likewise, my Balinese yoga collection gets more wear in Bali than at home. I’ve bought wedges specifically for resort dining (some of those resorts cover a lot of ground!), rash vests and shorts for Hawaiian surfing lessons, and even designer flats for shopping in Paris and New York (hey, I have to look the part!). Yep, I know it sounds shallow, and believe me, I don’t behave like this in any other area of my life, but when it comes to matching my outfits to my travel destinations, I take the cake.
So with Mercedes Benz Fashion Week hot on our high heels, I’ve teamed up with Airbnb to bring you some of the amazing Australian designer looks to pair with some pretty incredible Aussie travel destinations – so you can travel in super style.
